BECOMING A MEMBER OR SIGNING UP TO THE NEWSLETTER
When you become a member – after you’ve been recommended by a current member and after an onboarding call – we will safe your name, e-mail address, telephone number, organization, function and location (continent) in our OneDrive back office.During the onboarding process you are asked if you would like to stay up to date through our newsletter. If you say yes, or if you sign up for the newsletter through the website, we save your name, e-mail address and location (continent) in Mailchimp.You can always unsubscribe or change your preferences through the link in the e-mail.
PURCHASE EVENT TICKET
Name, e-mail address, telephone number, organization and function are shared with the host of the event. For free events we use Eventbrite. For paid events such as the annual summit, it depends on who the preferred supplier of the host is.
We use your name, the organization, function and region information that is provided purely for analysis purposes as well as to know who attended what event when, this information ends up in our OneDrive back office. We might share participant lists with all participants of the event.
SPECIAL AND / OR SENSITIVE PERSONAL INFORMATION PROCESSED BY DESIGN AT BUSINESS
Our website and / or service does not intend to collect information about website visitors who are younger than 16 years, unless they have permission from parents or guardians. However, we cannot check if a visitor is older than 16. We encourage parents to be involved in the online activities of their children, in order to prevent data about children being collected without parental consent. If you believe that we have collected personal information about a minor without this permission, please contact us at email@example.com and we will delete this information.

We process personal data for the following purposes:
• To process your registration and / or payment after you have become member or purchased a service.
• To be able to call or e-mail you if this is necessary to perform the service that you have taken.
• To inform you about (changes to) our services that you have previously purchased. For this you can always unsubscribe via a link in the mail.

HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
We keep your data as long as you are a member or subscribed to our newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time, after which your data will be deleted. Retention periods of the data might vary depending on the purpose for which we have received or collected the data and on legal obligations to retain data.
We use the following suppliers who process personal data on behalf of Design at Business, with whom all processing agreements have been concluded: Eventbrite, Mailchimp.
We have signed a processor agreement with Google. The data we collect in Google Analytics is anonymised and encrypted. The so-called 'sharing data' with Google is off. Finally, we do not use the Analytics cookies in combination with other Google services.
